Content Potential Unleashed

The modern-day workplace is no longer just an office but a giant brain of interconnected neurons. Content flashes past each team and department as it is exchanged at the speed of light via ECM (Enterprise Content Management) applications—a solution that has simplified this need for inter/ intra-departmental collaboration. By dealing with complex structured/unstructured data, complex data types and security-sensitive data, an ECM solution is an indispensable tool in the modern-day workplace.

However, there is still a gap in how these platforms are managed from a line of business perspective. On the one hand, are the ECMs that manage the data pertaining to mission-critical solutions and applications for their customers and partners. On the other hand are the IT staff that support the ECMs, struggling to leverage their full potential. General purpose management tools running either on-premises or in the cloud do not provide ‘out of the box’ ECM application layer visibility required for actively managing ECM. Reveille, building on an agentless design, can rapidly gather this ECM specific information and then natively connect with common IT operations toolsets.

Most organizations in the marketplace that use ECM solutions today have multiple suppliers. In fact, most medium to large companies will have at least three different ECM suppliers that are quite difficult to monitor simultaneously. Further, all ECMs need to be optimized if users expect to better understand how their ECM environment is performing. And lastly, with the dawn of digital transformation, organizations are expecting more from all of their business tools, including ECMs. Organizations should be able to apply analytics to examine exactly how users are accessing their content and gain more insights into their usage. Bringing together the best of all three worlds is Reveille solutions, an ECM performance optimization specialist that uses intelligent insight and comprehensive management of underlying ECM assets to create harmony and better visibility across all ECM solutions.

“Reveille adopts management by exception strategy and alerts clients of problems with the ECM application procedure. That's an immediate benefit for users to actively fix the issue,” says Brian DeWyer, CTO & Co-Founder Reveille Software.

Reveille Software’s proprietary platform gathers all the data points from different ECMs as it supports over 20 prominent ECM platforms. This gives users access to hundreds of prebuilt ECM tests, dashboard metrics, and ECM user application profiles. The platform incorporates over 25 native connectors, including SIEM tools like Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, and helps clients view different incidents directly via ServiceNow and Ivanti. It also interfaces with collaboration tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams that allow the platform to gather its baseline data and deliver it back to the client via dashboards and reports.

Furthermore, Reveille has over 140 REST API methods that give clients information on operating status, dashboard metrics, report information and details about users and their analytics. In addition, they have threshold-based analytics that lets clients measure and track their ECM performance as they update their ECM environment.

Reveille Software can also monitor all critical components of clients' ECM systems to alert users of any incidents using alert management services like PagerDuty and BigPanda, minimizing the impact on the ECM user group. It even includes 50 recovery actions, such that if the system notices an event that exceeds the threshold, the recovery action—such as blocking user access or restarting the process—is immediately initiated. The software also continuously scans for anomalous access patterns that don't correspond to typical user behavior, such as high-frequency downloads in a brief period from a place outside the firewall. Additionally, the software can identify and block access when a user’s access to content violates security profiles.

Reveille offers a clear picture of complex ECM environments within organizations. Our benefit is to actively monitor this scope while providing notification and pro-active remediations that prevent issues of business-level impact

Reveille's collaboration with a large financial institution in North America is the perfect example of the company’s expertise in the ECM space. Here, the client depended on ECM technologies for high-volume document-driven processes. Their departments used various ECM suppliers such as different solutions for capture, repositories, archives, and collaboration. Unfortunately, the ECM environment users were unaware that an issue in one area could also migrate and impact other areas because they lacked the deep visibility to examine those interconnected platforms.

Reveille deployed a single-view platform that enabled them see in a single view capture operations, repositories, archives and collaboration applications across those different environments. They could also see the current operating health and service levels on one dashboard, allowing them to take immediate remediation. Suppose the software detects an issue in the capture arena, where capture is no longer exporting the information into the repository. In that case, Reveille can take the appropriate action without involving an ECM user to reduce or resolve the problem.

“Our customers are pleasantly surprised about how straightforward and easy it is to maintain Reveille, thanks to our robust R&D staff that maintains close ties to every platform we support. We strive to stay ahead of the curve by supporting new releases of all major ECM platforms before our customers prepare to update,” says Robert Estes, CEO & President of Reveille Software.

Reveille Software Unveils New Agentless Monitoring Solutions For Hyland RPA and Kofax RPA Platforms

Friday, June 02, 2023

ROSWELL, GA: When using Hyland or Kofax platforms, most organizations need several third-party providers—each using silo-native product management tools—to achieve the same productivity management and monitoring capabilities of a single Reveille RPA solution. Reveille’s automated RPA functionality allows organizations using Hyland RPA and Kofax RPA to simplify their platform’s management by:

• Eliminating the manual observation of RPA platform health with active service level management.

• Automating recovery actions for RPA component errors and robot execution bottlenecks.

• Verifying target application availability and minimizing error recovery logic in robots.

Reveille’s single RPA content management dashboard goes beyond product-specific dashboards by displaying suspicious administration transactions and ensuring RPA target applications are available and responsive before robot execution. In addition, the new solution delivers direct severity-based event integration with SIEMS (Splunk, Azure Sentinel), incident management (ServiceNow), notification (PagerDuty), AIOps (Big Panda), and collaboration tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.

"RPA solutions touch business-critical applications for structured data extraction and now ECM systems for digital asset unstructured data extraction. With this new functionality, users can now scale and operate RPA platforms confidently while having a holistic view of the full content management environment," said Brian DeWyer, CTO of Reveille Software.

Reveille's new Hyland RPA and Kofax RPA support will revolutionize how organizations approach RPA platform health monitoring and management. With Reveille, organizations can achieve complete visibility, control, and automation of their RPA solutions, enabling them to focus on what they do best – driving business success. • Patented Reveille collector for new data sources supporting remote Hyland OnBase REST API environments operating on-premises or in the cloud.

"The norm for modern ECM Solutions is to build upon RESTful API endpoints for efficient scaling, optimized client-server interactions, and enhanced security from token-based authentication. With Reveille's full coverage for Hyland OnBase REST, users can now scale Hyland OnBase REST-based applications and manage them confidently while having a holistic view of the full content management environment," said Brian DeWyer, CTO of Reveille Software.

Enhanced Hyland OnBase Batch Management

Reveille for Hyland OnBase now offers comprehensive monitoring of OnBase committed and uncommitted batches. The feature captures automation management with analytics to help users detect OnBase capture uncommitted batch exceptions to reduce capture in/out service interruptions while helping to reduce missed capture service level objectives. Additional benefits include:

• Providing trend capture input volumes by batch process (process name), method (EDI, scanned, COLD, etc.), and status (awaiting commit, awaiting indexing, etc.)

• Understanding the daily capture process levels by exception to balance rework activities and meeting daily service level objective exception processing.

CommunityLIVE sessions feature dedicated tracks for content services platforms. Brian DeWyer will be joined by Chris Zurn, Director of Global Services, Hyland, to discuss the importance of technology health checks on October 5th, from 2:30 p.m. PT to 3:45 p.m. PT in the Alliance 317-319 room. Titled "The Importance Of Your Application Health," the session will emphasize how technology applications and business systems should regularly go through an assessment to ensure they perform as desired. The topic will be underscored by a peer-to-peer discussion from Reveille and Hyland customers, who will discuss their technology health check experiences.
