A great example of Thorben Consulting’s capabilities is its involvement with the Department of the Interior to transition their ERP systems to the cloud. It helped the department implement the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) project on SAP, which was a significant accomplishment. In addition, it played a crucial role in the DOI's discussions with SAP to create a roadmap for their transition to S/4HANA and their move to the Azure cloud from their previous provider. Prior to Thorben Consulting's involvement, the DOI did not have an ERP system. However, after the implementation of an ERP system, its efficiency and effectiveness improved, resulting in the retirement of approximately eighty six systems. It also collaborated with the U.S. Department of the Army to design enterprise tools and establish a uniform methodology for cloud migrations.
