Founded in 2001, Movable Type is one of the first virtual blogging platforms developed to “share experiences” across the globe by enabling people to communicate in a two-way manner—posting and commenting. Now it has evolved from a blog tool to the true web content management system (CMS) platform, Nobuhiro (Nob) Seki, CEO explains, “With a lot of input and feedback from our web developers user community, we redefined our services from a blogging software to real web CMS platform. Compared to traditional enterprise CMS which is complicated and has enormous functions, advantage of Movable Type is taking over simplicity from blogger’s tool and also meets the needs of enterprise use.”
