Bob Udell
President and CEO, Consolidated Communications
Bob Udell is the President and CEO of Consolidated Communications, Inc. (CCI), a leader in providing broadband communication services to businesses and consumers across its 11-state fiber network. CCI (NASDAQ: CNSL) is dedicated to turning technology into solutions, connecting people and enriching how its customers work and live.
Prior to being named CEO in 2014, Bob served as CCI’s President and Chief Operating Officer since joining the company in 2004 at the time of the TXU Communications acquisition. Mr. Udell has more than 25 years of telecommunications leadership experience during his time at CCI, McLeodUSA, and Bell Atlantic.
Mr. Udell serves on the US Telecom Board of Directors and has served as Chairman of the Independent Telephone and Telecommunications Alliance. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, his MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and completed the Advanced Technology Innovations Program at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
