Mr. Tamayo prides himself for having one of the leanest IT Departments in the industry while also having the lowest turnover in IT staff (average IT stay is ~12 years).  His IT governance focuses on team building whereby everyone can participate in the constant enhancement of enterprise architecture, security, innovation, vendor management, and customized application development for internal consumption. Before coming to DCS, he was Information Technology Manager for Towers Watson helping doing technology integration management with international M&A’s and before that, he was Information Systems Officer at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. In his spare time, he volunteers as Board Director for several small non-profit organization. He serves as Advisor/Sponsor to Langley HS Cybersecurity Team competing at the U.S Air Force CyberPatriot Program.
