Eric Spear
VP of Technology, Zipcar
Eric is currently serving as VP of Technology at Zipcar. Every tech company needs a guru that is equal parts art and science, which is why Zipcar brought on Eric as our Vice President of Technology. With a knack for building and an eye for design, he oversees the global technology strategy of the brand.
Eric comes to Zipcar with over 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering fields, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Professional Services at Roam Data/Ingenico. He’s held countless roles at companies big and small, including Director of Engineering, Director of Architecture Engineering, and Vice President of Software Development.
Eric graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a focus in Biochemistry.
