Jeff McConathy
VP of Engineering of Consumer Services, Trulia, a part of Zillow Group [NASDAQ: Z]
Jeff manages Trulia’s consumer engineering team, responsible for building and supporting all of Trulia’s consumer products, from the web to mobile web and purpose-built Trulia apps on iOS and Android, for smartphones and tablets.
Jeff has been building software and engineering teams for 19 years. Most recently he was the CTO and co-founder of Vertical Response, a provider of marketing solutions for small businesses. Before that, Jeff was Principle Software Engineer at NBC Internet and a Senior Software Engineer at XOOM.com.
Previous positions include stints as a senior software engineer at Alexa Internet and Freeloader Inc.
Jeff graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Speech Communication, with a focus on Management Information Systems, Database, UNIX, and Software Development.
Jeff resides in San Francisco with his wife and family. He enjoys trips to Europe, motorcycling, and track driving, as well as being a fan of local food and wine.
