
Judy Murrah
Judy Murrah is Chief Information Officer at Applied DNA Sciences, a provider of biotechnology and information technology-based security and authentication solutions. She and her team enable both company business operations and commercial software product development. Previously, at Motorola, Judy led IT program management, quality assurance, and financial and supplier management. At Symbol Technologies (acquired by Motorola), Judy held vice president positions in IT, Product Management, Retail Marketing, Corporate and Marketing Communications, and Global Account Sales. She began her career as an Industrial Engineer at Kaiser Aluminum.
Judy is Co-Founder and President of ConnectToTech, Inc., a non-profit organization recognized by Computerworld magazine and the Long Island Imagine Awards for inspiring students to engage in science, technology, engineering and math education and careers. She was a recipient of both the Top 50 Influential Women of Long Island award and the Diamond Award recognizing women leaders in technology, was an honoree of the Long Island Software and Technology Network, serves on the Middle Country Library Board and is co-author on 11 patents.
Judy earned her Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
