Nick Perugini
CIO, Current, Powered by GE [NYSE: GE]
Nick Perugini is Chief Information Officer for Current, Powered by GE & GE Lighting. Nick has responsibility for delivering technology solutions including Current’s digital thread strategy spanning Product Design, Commercial tools, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Services, enabling Current’s Intelligent Environment product offering and driving an ERP transformation journey.
A dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving strategy and execution across multiple industries, product lines and technology domains, Nick continually solves complex business challenges by effectively positioning people and technology, inspiring teams to ‘imagine, then realize.’
Nick previously held many roles throughout his 15 years in GE Capital digitizing business models across commercial, operations and lease accounting technology. Nick more recently served as the CIO of GE Corporate, where he drove functional systems & technical excellence across GE, as well as led the technology strategy for shared services (HR, Pay/Benefits, Legal, Commercial, Marketing) for 3 years.
Active in several nonprofit organizations throughout Connecticut, Nick holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
