Phyllis Post is the global head of IT for Merck’s Commercial division, where she is responsible for enabling business value through strategic partnerships, and implementing and orchestrating the delivery of priority capabilities and user-oriented solutions. This includes value-add and innovative solutions to help the company meet its customer, revenue and productivity goals as well as Commercial and Patient solutions.
Since joining the Company in 1998, Ms. Post has also held IT leadership positions supporting Merck’s Global Research Laboratories and the Corporate Enterprise division. Most recently, as the Asia Pacific Client Services and IT Regional Center Leader, Ms. Post provided regional leadership for both the IT Innovation & Development Center and the IT business partnerships for Commercial, Manufacturing and R&D divisions.
Prior to joining Merck, Ms. Post worked for a variety of mid-tier typesetting and web development companies that were engaged primarily in the publication of financial, scientific, medical and technical materials. Additionally, Ms. Post served as a board member for the Typesetters Association of NY and as President for PrintNJ.
Ms. Post holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, as well as a B.A. from Douglass College.
