Bob Hope USO Retains PPMG to help them Achieve their Community Goals
LOS ANGELES, CA: In order to support their ongoing issue management needs and community relations outreach efforts for their 75th anniversary, Bob Hope USO announced its plans to retain The Pollack PR Marketing Group (PPMG). An independent non-profit organization, Bob Hope USO serves troops and military families on bases stretching across 43,000 square miles of Southern California. They also operate in the airport centers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Ontario International Airport, John Wayne Airport in Orange County and Palm Springs International Airport, serving military personnel and their families while traveling. PPMG, on the other hand, is a multi-specialty agency that develops communication platforms and programs, manages corporate reputations, launches new products and services and promotes brand engagement for clients of any size.
"There are many infrastructure and economic changes coming to Southern California, and Bob Hope USO needs to be well positioned to benefit from these changes," remarked Bob Kurkjian, Executive Director, Bob Hope USO.
The community awareness aspect of Bob Hope USO's services and programs will grow and they will receive strategic counseling on challenges faced in relocating their flagship center to LAX with this announcement of retaining PPMG. PPMG will focus on devising means to enhance the organization’s position within the community and will influence community leaders in realizing the significance of the mission to support America's troops and their families.
Kurkjian stated, "Everything we do is designed to enhance our ability to support the hundreds of thousands of military members and their families in Southern California who rely on Bob Hope USO programs and services on their bases and at our airport centers. We have a long history with PPMG and know they are the right partner to support us in these important times."
PPMG aims at connecting Bob Hope USO’s value of services with the goals and needs of community leaders that support those values. PPMG will help the company through awareness campaigns, strategic messaging, issue management, and community leadership activation.
