Capgemini to Implement HR Transformation for Leoni
PARIS, BERLIN: Capgemini has been selected by the leading Germany based wiring system and cable technology provider, Leoni to implement the former’s Human Resources strategy in more than 30 countries. Using its management and technology expertise, Capgemini will assist Leoni reach its strategic goals by connecting HR with the business needs and priorities of the corporation. Optimizing the HR processes and HR IT system landscape within the 75,000 employee base of Leoni, Capgemini as an end to end IT and consulting firm would support the program and project management over the next four years.
"We have been looking for a global partner who is capable of supporting a global, end-to-end HR transformation. Capgemini is offering capabilities in all relevant areas of HR as well as HR IT, combined with a global delivery capability," said Thomas Hennig, Senior Vice President Corporate HR at Leoni. "Capgemini will support Leoni throughout the whole transformation process aiming to realize a significant contribution of HR to the overall Leoni strategy." he added.
Founded in 1917 Leoni’s customers range from core industries automotive, telecommunications etc. to household wires and strands providers. The company also clams to be one of the world’s first cable manufacturers to develop a holistic sustainability concept for “green technology”. Operating about 80 productions sites globally, the company in 2014 reported consolidated sales of 4.1 bn Euros.
