Checkpoint Systems Introduces Micro RFID Label for Different Categories
NEW YORK, NY: Checkpoint Systems, a provider of merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry, has launched Micro RFID label for health/beauty/cosmetics groups, like hair care, over-the-counter medication, and mid-size cosmetics.
Incorporated with the Impinj Monza RAIN RFID R6 chip, the Micro RFID EPC label is designed to deliver unique performance for health and beauty items in a small form factor. It is perfect for items with a high liquid content or items in densely packed merchandising displays. Compliant with ISO18000-6C, Micro RFID is a high-performance, adaptable solution that can be encoded and printed to carry EPC data in several formats, with a 2D printed bar code and human readable text.
“Our ongoing partnership is exciting as Checkpoint continues to launch new solutions, including the Micro. The Monza R6 Chip includes Integra technology that enables RAIN RFID labels to deliver higher reliability and accuracy, which is crucial for labels like the Micro in resolving challenging retail deployments,” comments Craig Cotton, VP of Marketing and Product Management, Impinj.
The new Micro RFID helps small size retailers to deal with SKU complexity and densely packed merchandising displays. In addition, with its previously launched companion labels - the Whisper and Slim, it covers the full range of products and enables retailers to tag more merchandise to develop their inventory visibility.
