Load DynamiX: Elevating Analytics Solution through LDX-V Series
SAN JOSE, CA: Load DynamiX has unveiled its revamped version of Load DynamiX LDX-V series storage performance validation solutions: Load DynamiX standard and LDX-V plus. The company also assists and supports storage architects and engineers in software- defined data centers.
The Load DynamiX storage performance analytics solution is comprised of a software application, Load DynamiX Enterprise and appliances for workload generation and workload acquisition. The solution validates storage infrastructure performance and enhances the understanding of changing application workload behavior affecting storage performance. The integrated solution allows workload acquisition, workload analysis, workload modeling and workload performance analytics.
LDX- V facilitates broader performance and functional testing capabilities at both storage vendors and IT organizations by leveraging Load DynamiX traditional workload generation solutions with a lower cost and flexible deployment model. With lower cost of storage performance validation, the solution enables accurate load testing of less performance intensive storage systems using x86 based server platform.
Supporting VMware ESXi5.1 and above, multiple LDX-V is deployed on the same host or distributed across number of other hosts. The LDX-V is configured with Load DynamiX Enterprises 5.0 and consists of Software GUI, workflow, statistics, and projects and API used by Load DynamiX physical appliances to test File, Block, and Object/ Cloud storage systems deployed on IP networks.
The products benefits includes comprehensive storage validation platform where at a lower testing cost, it unifies storage performance validation process with a single virtualized testing solution. Emulation of real-world traffic isolates performance problems quickly and efficiently through the industry’s deepest and broadest storage protocol validation to help storage engineers on analyzing performance characteristics. Ease –to-use- GUI and library of prebuilt tests simplifies performance analysis and accelerates troubleshooting. Up to 4Gbps of bandwidth per virtual Appliance allows multiple LDX-V instances to be installed in the same platform or it can be integrated across multiple hosts for higher overall productivity.
"Our new Virtual Series workload generation appliances and improvements to large scale virtualization testing offer an opportunity for more organizations to use our best-in-class solutions, and enable a much wider adoption of our products," said Tim Van Ash, vice president of products, Load DynamiX.
