MV Partners with Truven Health Analytics to Provide EHR Solution

ANN ARBOR, MI: MV, one of the leaders in health management systems in Brazil, has announced a partnership to integrate its Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution, SOUL MV with Truven Health Analytics’ Micromedex Solutions. Truven is a provider of performance improvement solutions built on data integrity, advanced analytics, and domain expertise. As a result of this integration, clinicians that use the EHR SOUL MV will be able to access the world’s leading source of evidence-based medication and condition management information, as well as patient education in 15 languages, including Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. The integration of Micromedex will include Truven Health’s InfoButton, Integrated CareNotes and Ultimedex Medication Advisory Screening (MAS) solutions. These capabilities will help clinicians to  rapidly access  the information they need to confirm diagnosis and treatment, including efficiency in assessing drug interactions, all while supporting better patient education to increase adherence and engage patients.

Currently, more than 5,500 hospitals, regulatory bodies, and other healthcare organizations in over 90 countries worldwide rely on Micromedex Solutions for up-to-date content. In Brazil, Micromedex Solutions are trusted by over a hundred healthcare providers and institutions, including the Ministry of Education (CAPES), the Ministry of Health, the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), and the Federal Pharmacy Council.
