BELLEVUE, WASH., and ORLANDO, FLA.: C-Labs Corporation, an award-winning provider of connectivity software for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced its new Factory-Relay IoT Software Development Kit (SDK). The new SDK can be used for manufacturing plants and other Industrial equipment sites. It simplifies the connection of different types of machinery, devices, and streamlines the developments of new applications to collect, store, analyze, and act upon machine data. This new Factory Relay IoT SDK enables companies to securely connect equipment regardless of age or protocol and even allows developing new applications using tools and technology already familiar to enterprise application developers.
“According to BI Intelligence, 82 percent of companies expect to deploy an IoT solution by 2017, yet are held back by concerns over ‘threats to data or physical security’ (42%) and an ‘inability of our IT systems to keep up with change’ (38 percent),” notes Chris M. Muench, Chief Executive Officer.
The new SDK would adapt and extend IoT deployments without sacrificing the security would require significant training for either operations technology (OT) or information technology (IT). Factory-Relay would extend IoT deployments in a way that is compliant with enterprise IT policies, protecting data, and ensuring efficient operations. The patent-pending approach would provide a connection point among the incompatible protocols.
C-Labs’ new IoT software development kit was announced at the ARC Forum; it would benefit the clients with a one stop solution to get rid of security and efficiency issues.
