SUNNYVALE, CA: Soha Cloud, the access as a service provided by California based Soha Systems has been certified as Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Version 3.1. Regarded as one of the most rigorous security standard globally, the certification serves as a validation for the company’s maturity and robustness. It would leverage the assurance among its customers, retailers and financial providers about the security offered to their sensitive information.

"Enterprises today are setting a high bar for strong compliance and effective security, particularly as they explore new cloud-based solutions that enable them to more efficiently run their businesses," said Mark Carrizosa, vice-president security and CISO at Soha Systems. "By certifying that Soha Cloud meets the most stringent standards for data security, enterprises of all types -- including those in retail and financial services -- can be assured that our solution not only meets their own compliance requirements, but also addresses the inherent risks associated with traditional remote access methodologies." he added.

Soha employs a unique dual code architecture that secures applications away from internet and public exposure in effect creating an extra layer of security while being able to integrate data path protection, multifactor authentication, identity access, application security and management visibility and control into a single service that does not require device specific software or direct access to the network.

Soha Systems was founded in 2013 and is being led by Haseeb Budhani. The company recently participated in the CIOArena event held at Seattle on April 21 at Westin Seattle.
